THE DINKY PONIES & ME
The smallest of ponies that make the biggest of difference.
Founded by the lovely Sarah in 2022, Dinky Ponies is home to a wonderful team of seven miniature shetland therapy ponies. What began with just two, Poppy & Tinks, has grown into an incredibly special team of 7. The Dinky Ponies bring comfort, love and a tonne of smiles to people across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. Sarah and the girls regularly visit care homes, hospitals, schools for additional needs and hospices - often reaching those in environments where a little four legged visitor can make the world of difference.
Their work has captured hearts far beyond the people they visit, building a huge social media community and gaining both national and international media attention along the way. From heartwarming hospital visits and viral online moments, to appearances at Your Horse Live - they still continue to stay true to what sits at the heart of everything they do, creating genuine connections between people and ponies.
I've been lucky enough to work with Sarah & the Dinky Ponies since 2024, and they've become a very special part of my journey. Alongside continuing to support and admire the incredible work they do, I've had the pleasure of creating photos for the Dinks and photographing their 2026 Calendar - and we're now busy creating the 2027 edition!
Working with 7 miniature shetlands is never plain sailing, but their individual personalities make for so many great memories. Being able to do what I love and support an incredible team like this makes these photoshoots so very special.
